I love trying new things. So when I heard that Dunkin’ Donuts was partnering with Beyond Meat to offer a plant-based sausage biscuit I was super excited!

Dunkin’ Donuts launched the Beyond Sausage Biscuit Nationwide on November 9, 2019, at more than 9000 locations across the U.S.

When I arrived at Dunkin’ Donuts, I instantly made my way over to take a selfie with the Beyond Meat sign.

That is something I like to do since I did the same thing when I tried KFC’s Beyond Meat Fried Chicken this summer.

Once inside, I ordered and to my surprise, the cashier was very eager to tell me about his first time trying the Beyond Sausage biscuit. He told me that he wasn’t a vegetarian and it was actually pretty good. He also said that he was shocked at how it tasted like the “real thing.”

I was given the choice of an English muffin, bagel or a whole wheat round for my Beyond sausage biscuit. I chose an English muffin and finished off my order with a caramel macchiato.

I waited for about 5 minutes for my order and after asking for napkins and jelly, I was on my way to work.

I jammed to my music as I quickly tried to make it to work before my Beyond Sausage Biscuit got cold.

Once at work, I settled in to have my first taste of the wonderful plant-based goodness.

As I opened up my bag I noticed that The Beyond Sausage Biscuit was packaged and wrapped in regular Dunkin’ Donuts paper.

I was surprised because most fast-food restaurants usually have the Beyond Meat sticker on the wrapper to verify you are getting the right food.

After saying a little prayer that I had the right thing, I opened up my biscuit to dress it with my grape jelly.

As I prepared to put my jelly on my biscuit, I saw something that ruined my whole breakfast!
