I’m so excited! I finally got the chance to eat at KFC again. Since transitioning to a vegetarian at the beginning of the year, KFC has not been on my list of places to eat.
When I heard KFC was releasing the Beyond Meat version of Fried Chicken, I knew I had to try it. KFC was only doing this in one location and it happened to be in the area where I worked.
They chose to sell the Beyond Fried Chicken between the hours of 10:30 a.m to 6:30 P.M. So as you could probably imagine, there was a line.
I waited about a hour and a half, but it was worth the wait.
The Menu
KFC made the menu super easy. You could either choose the nuggets or boneless wings.
I think that the prices were pretty reasonable. Some people ordered BIG. Like 500 pieces big!
The boneless wings came tossed in a sauce. You could choose from the Nashville Hot, Buffalo or Honey BBQ.
I chose the boneless wings with the Buffalo sauce.
I also got the 6 piece nuggets with honey mustard as my dipping sauce.
The Verdict
They were really really good! I LOVED them. They resembled chicken nuggets and boneless wings. They even had a crunch to it. The sauces on the boneless wings were probably the one thing that made it taste so real. The texture was on point and really made you feel like you were chewing real chicken.
I really hope KFC rolls this out Nationwide!
