Making moon water is a great way to tap into the moon’s energy to manifest and create your dream life. Paring the gifts of nature and manifestation techniques is a great way to amplify your intentions and wishes.
You can use any type of material and ritual that resonates with you when making your moon water. My goal is to give you a blueprint to start with and then as you become more comfortable, you can add to it and make it your own.
What You Will Need
Glass Jar With A Lid
Use a glass jar to hold your moon water so you can gaze into the jar and also keep out any impurities from using plastic. Also by having a lid, it protects you from wasting your water if it tips over and prevents any critters from getting into your water when it is sitting outside.
I usually reuse my pickle jars to make my moon water. But if you don’t have any reusable glass jars, you can get them from amazon or your local grocery store.
Make sure that the jar you choose resonates with you and what you are trying to attract into your life.
Water
Springwater is good to use for your moon water because it is unfiltered and the closest to living water.
However, tap water is also okay for you to use too.
Only use rainwater, pond water, or ocean water if you choose to not drink your moon water.
Labels (Optional)
This is optional, but if you want to remember when you made your moon water, you can write it on your label and put it on your jar.
How To Make Moon Water
Making moon water is not hard and very easy.
Here are the steps to take to make a simple and easy batch of moon water.
Clean Your Jar
You want to remove any type of negative energy that is in the jar.
This is very important if you have bought your glass jar from amazon or from a store.
You can simply use soap and water to clean out your jar and then dry it with a towel.
If you want to take it a step further, you can use palo santo or sage to cleanse your jar.
Choose a moon phase
You can make moon water on any moon cycle, it just depends on what you are trying to manifest and what your intentions are.
Make sure to Check the moon phase you are making your moon water on since different moon phases have different energies depending on what zodiac sign it is in.
So choose one that aligns with your intentions.
Fill Glass Jar with water
Fill the glass jar with the water you have chosen to use. Once again, you can use spring water or tap water.
Set Your Intentions
The next step is to set your intentions into the water.
Setting intentions is when you speak on the desires and wishes that you have for your life.
Maybe it’s achieving financial independence or maybe it’s to start accepting yourself for who you are.
Setting intentions can be a simple wish for your life.
Just make sure that your intentions are positive and not negative. So instead of saying, “stop being a procrastinator,” you could say, “use time wisely and effectively.”
Once you’ve added the water, hold the glass jar in your hands and visualize your intentions entering into the water.
Set Jar Outside:
Once you have decided what night you want to capture the energy of the moon, you will need to choose a location to sit your jar.
Choose a location that will receive the light of the moon. If the moon is not visible because of clouds, don’t worry, it will still work.
You can also choose to set it on a window sill inside your home if you do not feel comfortable putting it outside. However, placing it outside is preferred.
Collect Your Moon Water:
Make sure to bring your moon water inside before the sun comes up.
You do not want to mix the sunlight with your moon water since it is believed to cancel out the energy of the moon water.
So make sure to set your alarm!
Store Your Moon Water
Store your moon water in a dark location in your home that does not receive direct sunlight.
I normally keep mine in my closet until I am ready to use it.
