How David Goggins’ Cookie Jar Can Help You Manifest Your Dreams—Even When You Don’t Think You Deserve Them

92

We all go through tough times, and doubt can creep in at any moment when you’re on a manifestation journey.

It’s natural to wonder if you really deserve the things you’re working for, especially when things feel hard, or maybe you’re just not seeing results as quickly as you’d like.

We’ve all been there, and trust me, it doesn’t make you any less deserving of the dreams you’re calling in.

I’m rereading the book Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins, a former Navy SEAL and motivational speaker. And I came across a concept that I always thought was powerful.

In his book, Goggins introduces the Cookie Jar concept—a powerful mental tool for reminding yourself of your strength and resilience when you’re feeling worn down.

Now that I’m fully immersed in my manifestation journey and actively designing every aspect of my life, I’ve realized something that I didn’t know the first time I read the book.

The cookie jar concept doesn’t just apply to tough physical moments.

I now see how much this concept aligns with manifestation and how it can be a powerful reminder of just how worthy we are of the dreams we bring into our lives.

What Is the Cookie Jar concept?

David Goggins’ cookie jar is a metaphor for all the tough moments you’ve endured in your life—the battles you’ve fought, the challenges you’ve overcome, and the moments when you thought you couldn’t go on but found a way to push through.

The cookie jar is your mental collection of all the times you’ve proven your own strength.

When Goggins talks about reaching into the cookie jar, he’s referring to a way to tap into that mental reservoir of strength whenever you’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or tempted to quit.

It’s a way to remind yourself that you’ve been through hard things before and you’ve made it through.

Applying the Cookie Jar to Manifestation

Now, let’s take that same cookie jar concept and apply it to manifestation. When you’re trying to manifest your dreams, whether it’s a new career, better health, a more fulfilling relationship, or financial abundance, it’s easy to question whether you’re worthy of these things.

Sometimes, when life feels comfortable and you’re already doing “okay,” it can even feel like you’re being greedy for wanting more.

But the truth is: You are worthy. You do deserve everything you’re manifesting.

And just like Goggins’ idea of reaching into the cookie jar when you’re physically exhausted, you can reach into your manifestation cookie jar when you’re feeling doubtful about your dreams. Here’s how:

1. Remember Everything You’ve Overcome

When you feel unworthy of your manifestations, take a moment to look back at your life.

Think about all the challenges you’ve faced and conquered, whether big or small.

Have you ever been through a time when you didn’t think you could make it but pushed through anyway?

Perhaps you worked really hard for something, and it paid off, or you overcame fears and doubts to get to where you are today.

Your struggles and victories prove you have what it takes to create the life you’re manifesting. Every challenge you’ve overcome is like a “cookie” in your jar, a reminder of your inner strength.

2. Recognize the Effort You’re Putting In

Manifestation isn’t about simply wishing for things to happen, it’s about showing up for yourself and your dreams every day.

Have you worked on personal growth, taking action toward your goals, or making sacrifices to bring your dreams to life?

Every time you take inspired action toward your goals, you add another “cookie” to your jar.

Maybe it’s been a long road, but remember, even the smallest effort is a step forward.

Each moment of dedication, even if it doesn’t seem like much, builds up over time.

These are the things that show you’re worthy of the life you’re calling into your existence.

3. Celebrate the Progress You’ve Made

Sometimes, when we’re on the manifestation journey, we focus so much on the end result that we forget to celebrate the progress we’ve made along the way.

Look at how far you’ve come, everything you’ve achieved, no matter how small it may seem, is part of the bigger picture.

These are the moments you can use to build your “cookie jar.”

Each small win is a step toward the bigger manifestations. Whether you’ve received an opportunity, made a new connection, or even just had a breakthrough in your mindset, take a moment to acknowledge those wins. Add them to your cookie jar as proof that you are capable and deserving of even bigger things.

4. Affirm Your Worthiness

The most important part of this process is belief.

The cookie jar not only reminds you of your strength but also helps you affirm your worthiness.

When doubt creeps in, when you start to wonder if you really deserve everything you’re working for, reach into that jar and remind yourself of everything you’ve already done to create the life you have.

I want you to say it out loud now: “I deserve the life I’m manifesting.”

You’ve worked hard. You’ve shown up. You’ve been strong. And you’ve earned every single part of the life you’re calling into existence.

There is no such thing as being “greedy” when it comes to wanting more for yourself. The universe is abundant, and there’s more than enough for you.

5. Trust the Process

Finally, trust that everything is happening exactly as it should. Manifestation is a journey, not a race. Just because things aren’t coming to fruition as quickly as you’d like doesn’t mean you’re not deserving of them. Your cookie jar will remind you of the patience and persistence you’ve shown in the past—and that same resilience will help you stay aligned with your manifestations.

Manifestation takes time, but the more you trust the process, the more you’ll align with what you want. Keep believing in your worthiness. Keep reaching into your cookie jar whenever you need a boost.
